PLASTIMET is a family-owned company. Over more than 30 years of activity we have become a provider of top quality doors and windows, serving customers at home and abroad. We are not only a manufacturer and exporter, but first and foremost – a reliable partner, contractor and coordinator of all projects related to PVC joinery, terrace doors, aluminium windows and doors, as well as fire-resistant or facades. With our highly automated machinery park we can meet almost every challenge as far as the production of windows and doors is concerned.
The company’s head office has been in Ełk for many years, but our heart beats in Niedźwiedzkie, 12 kilometres away, in a modern production and logistics complex with an area of over 17,000 m2.
We believe that the windows and doors we deliver enhance the aesthetic value of any building and the comfort of living there.
Our Mission
Our experience and high quality make us a long-term trading partner. We keep improving our products and services, thereby inspiring our customers. Their needs and dreams determine the direction of our development.
Vision
We want to be the first choice partner for property owners and employees.
By continuously developing and improving our quality, we aim to supply our products to modern, spectacular projects.
With its own window testing station, the Department is able to carry out in-house tests to applicable standards, as an essential element of the Plant Production Control for product conformity assessment and CE marking.
Furthermore, all kinds of prototype tests for new technical solutions or new types of design can be performed here.
Highly automated extrusion lines supplied by WEBER Maschinenfabrik GmbH, Germany, are used for the production of window profiles. The final shape and dimensions of the profiles are created using processing tools from the Austrian industry leader, GREINER EXTRUSION GmbH. The high stamping performance is guaranteed by one of the country’s state-of-the-art computerised PVC powder mixers with an automatic weighing unit. The ROTOX frame and casement assembly line performs the casement fitting, installation of the necessary frame components, fitting the casements into the frames and glazing the windows, as well as providing the automated transport of the frames and casements between the process stations up to the final production stage.
Spinning off the remaining technological lines for the production of special PVC joinery into a separate department guarantees the manufacture of even the most unusual window structures, external doors, all kinds of arched, triangular or trapezoidal windows.
More than 30 years of experience have resulted in manufacturing process excellence. With the innovative machine park developed based on the state-of-the-art equipment from world’s leading providers PLASTIMET can meet almost any challenge as far as the production of windows and doors is concerned.
Cutting and machining of PVC profiles is performed using a cutting and machining module fitted with, among others, two extremely precise ROTOX ZSA 263 F cutting centres and a machine for punching steel reinforcements. Three ROTOX welding, machining and cleaning lines are responsible for profile welding and post-welding processing, including the four-head SMH 510 high-temperature HTS welding machines, the BSS 942 machining centre and the EPA 579 automatic four-axis cleaning machine and, in the case of the casement line, the EKA 577 twelve-axis corner cleaning machine.
Insulating glass units are manufactured based on a technologically advanced idea to integrate the production line, where the panes are formed simultaneously with the windows. This process is possible owing to precise tables for cutting large glass panes, where the glazing packets are fused on an automatic press with a sealing robot.
Production continuity and efficiency are ensured by two automated glass warehouses fitted with an integrated control system, allowing for optimum use of the storage space.
The innovative ROTOX GSS sorting plant, which is part of the production line for the new type of PVC windows and an intelligent sorting system, is responsible for delivering the insulating glass units to the assembly line according to the “just-in-time” concept.
Aluminium and fire-resistant windows and doors are manufactured using the equipment supplied by ELUMATEC GmbH – the global market leader in the production of machines for processing aluminium, PVC and steel profiles – customised for PLASTIMET, configured into innovative technological lines with appropriately chosen and optimised technical parameters and integrated into one coherent production, quality control and management system.
